Foodie Friday at L.O.V.E. Mag: BBQ Pineapple Chicken

Here is it is, each Friday I have been asked to have a recipe ready for L.O.V.E. Magazine. This is such an honor to me and I am so happy that Shivawn has asked to participate. This is the first one. Be sure to check out the L.O.V.E., there is definitely something there for you!!

BBQ Pineapple Chicken
Ingredients1 small pack of chicken wings
Favorite seasoning blend for chicken
1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 can (16oz) of pineapples (crushed, rings or tidbits)
1/2 cup of pineapple juice (from can)
1/8 tsp of hot sauce (optional)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a 13′ x 9′ pan with alumninum foil. Spray foil with cooking spray so the chicken won’t stick.
Wash and season down chicken wings. Place them in the pan and bake uncovered for 20-30 minutes, turning them over half way through.
Mean while mix BBQ sauce, brown sugar, pineapple juice, and hot sauce.
Once the chicken has browned, remove from the oven.
Stir pineapples in with BBQ mixture, the pour over chicken and make sure the chicken is coated evenly. Place chicken back in the oven for another 15-20 minutes until chicken has cooked completely.
You can serve it over steamed rice if you like.

**This will also work great on the grill. Even great on porkchops too.
