Taste Test Tuesday: Kraft’s Fresh Takes
Happy Tuesday and thanks for stopping by the kitchen. Please feel free to grab a seat at the table or the counter. Fix yourself a cup of tea or coffee and grab a bite to eat. Today’s tasting comes from Kraft, it’s their Fresh Take line, great idea for your next meal.

We all know that finding time to cook dinner can be challenging. Well Kraft is making this a little easier on all of us. It’s not your ordinary shake-n-bake, there is some flavoring to this mix. A blend of Kraft cheeses, and seasoned bread crumbs brings your chicken, fish or pork to life. It only took us 5 minutes to prep the meat before we put it in the oven!
- Thaw your meat.
- Open the Kraft Fresh Take package and mix the seasonings together.
- Coat your meat. (Kids loved doing this part)
- Bake your meat in the oven on 375 degrees.
We coated some tilapia filet’s in the Italian Parmesan mix and added a mix green salad with a raspberry vinaigrette and lunch was ready in under 20 minutes.
Kraft Fresh Takes comes in the following flavors:
- Southwest Three Cheese
- Rosemary Roasted Garlic
- Cheddar, Jack Bacon
- Italian Parmesan
- Savory Four Cheese
- Chili, Lime & Panko
You have a variety of flavors to choose from. Be sure to check the blog for a coupon. You can find Kraft Fresh Takes in the dairy aisle next to the cheeses.
Here are a few more ideas on way to use Kraft Fresh Takes:
- Stuffed Mushrooms
- Coat chicken tenders
- Season your mashed potatoes
- Coat your stuffed shells
- Spice up shrimp cocktail
- Kick up your salmon patties
- Coat your zucchini then bake instead of fry.
- Create a new spinach and artichoke dip.
- Cut up biscuit dough and make Parmesan bites
We thank you for stopping by the kitchen today.

I absolutely enjoying cooking, especially baking. The kitchen is a safe haven for me. My creativity begins to flow when I think about food and all the options that are available. Over the past few years I have been fortunate enough to have a kitchen that I can explore in. Which has left with the thought of ‘What to do?’ What should I include on my blog? This is my culinary journey and Lord willing the beginning of my bakery.
I have been asked to try out recipes and write a review, test out a new cake pan (Thanks to a member of the BRC) and even come up with a weekly menu. They are all great ideas that I am planning on doing in the very near future, but what else would you like to see on my blog?
